Catalyst Cuisine Meals

1. I’m a new customer. What can I expect?

Catalyst Cuisine is committed to deliver anti-inflammatory meals that you truly enjoy, don’t have to cook and will help you feel better. All our meals are ready to eat. They are made with organic and anti-inflammatory ingredients. We source our produce from local organic and sustainable farms. Our animal proteins come from pasture raised chicken, turkeys, and Alaskan wild caught fish. Our menu items are packaged in clam shell containers and delivered to you in refrigerated boxes. Some of the menu items require less than 3 minutes reheating on the stove top or you can also reheat them in the microwave. If the meal requires reheating, you will find instructions on the meal box. All meals (besides the salads and wraps) can be frozen for longer storage. Meals last in fridge up to three days after they were delivered.  Our boxes are big enough to hold up to 12 menu items (plus frozen gel packs and insulation liner). If you want more menu items, please place two orders.

      2. What is the deadline for ordering meals?

We deliver every Tuesday nationwide. Place your order by the proceeding Thursday to receive the upcoming Tuesday’s delivery

  1. How do you differ from other meal delivery services?

Our meals are delivered ready to eat. No chopping, cooking nor cleaning the kitchen required. We use anti-inflammatory, lectin free, organic, sustainable locally grown, ingredients in all our meals. Our fish is Alaskan and wild caught and our chicken is pasture raised. All our meals are produced by real, well trained caring people (not machines). Our production crew is ServSafe certified. We operate out of our commercial kitchen in Goleta CA.

  1. Is this a set meal or do I get to pick my meals?

You can pick and choose which meals you want to receive. Our boxes are big enough to hold up to 12 menu items plus insulation and cooling agents. We cannot fit more than that in one box currently. For that reason, you needed to place two orders to have more than 12 menu items shipped to you.

  1. Are these ready-to-eat meals or a box of ingredients I have to cook myself?

Our meals are delivered ready to eat. No chopping, cooking nor cleaning the kitchen required. We use anti-inflammatory, lectin free, organic, sustainable locally grown, ingredients in all our meals. Some of our meals require less than 3 minutes of reheating on the stove top or if you choose to they can also be reheated in the microwave (do not reheat meals in microwave in the containers they arrive in, those are not microwave safe!)

  1. Is there a minimum order requirement?

Yes. Our minimum order requirement is 6 menu items.

  1. Where is the food made?

We operate out of a commercial kitchen in Goleta CA. All our kitchen chefs and production crew members are ServSafe certified.

  1. Why must I order between 6 to 12 meals?

We have a minimum order requirement of 6 menu items. We cannot ship out more than 12 menu items in one box because the box is fully filled with 12 menu items plus ice packs and insulation liner.

  1. What if I want to order more than 12 meals?

In the near future we will offer a bigger box size and will be able to ship out more menu items than 12 in one shipment. Currently you will have to place a second order to receive more than 12 menu items.

  1. Do your meals contain nuts?

If a meal contains nuts we package the nuts separately so that you can avoid eating the nuts if that is your preference. The only menu items where nuts are not packaged separately are:  Chicken Salad on Romaine Boats, Vegan Mushroom Lettuce Cups, Paleo Muffins, Gogoballs. If you allergic to nuts please be aware that there is a high change of contamination of nuts into your meals because we do not operate out of a nut free kitchen and it is always possible for nuts to come in contact with your food.

  1. How long do the meals stay fresh?

All our meals (besides the salads and wraps) can be frozen to last for several weeks in the freezer. If you want to store your meals in the fridge most of them last up to three days in the fridge after they arrive. The menu items that have a longer shelf life in the fridge are: Gogoballs, Paleo muffins, Pot au Chocolate, Romaine Warrior Smoothie, Kai tortillas, Coconola,

  1. Can I freeze any of the meals to keep them longer?

Yes. All our meals can be frozen besides the salads and wraps.

  1. Can I recycle the packaging?

Yes. All our packaging is recyclable. We encourage you to reuse the packaging as much as possible before you recycle it. Using a bunch of packaging to get you your meals is not our favorite part of our business. We wish we could just deliver the meals to you with much less packaging. However, the technology available to ship fresh meals is not very advanced currently and we have to depend on heavy frozen gel packs and insulation liners to get the meals to you. We hope that someone smart will come up with a great idea how to ship fresh food safely with a technology that requires minimal packaging, is light and keeps food fresh! Until then please reuse your packaging until you recycle it.

    14. What is the best way to start?

The best way to accelerate your health using our menu items is to order the Kickstarter Protocol: a 3-day plan where your breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all Catalyst Cuisine meals. This is the fastest way to reduce inflammation in your body and feel the positive effects on your health when you avoid eating lectins.

To participate in the Kickstarter plan, add 9 KSP approved meals to your cart (meals with KSP blue circular logo in the corner of the photo) to cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 3 days—as well as 1 order of DIY Romaine Warrior Smoothies (to cover snacks). KSP meals differ from other Catalyst Cuisine food items in that they don’t contain specific ingredients such as any roots or tubers (e.g.sweet potatoes), eggs, and fruit — all of which can have health benefits — but also can promote inflammation for many people, especially if your (gut) health is challenged (and that applies to the majority of people in the US right now). You can use this link to CHOOSE YOUR KSP MEALS.

Updating orders

  1. How do I manage my subscription order?

To manage your subscriptions:
